Strategic Forum for Construction
NSCC represents Specialist Contractors on the Strategic Forum for online casino go Construction, which brings together the main representative bodies in the construction industry with the aim of achieving maximum value for clients, end users and stakeholders and delivering world-class products and projects.
CITB
NSCC has 3 seats on the Board and is represented on a range of Committees to determine
the direction of CITB and the industry's training programme.
Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)
NSCC is a co-owner of the industry card scheme, CSCS, which provides proof of
occupational competence.
Cross-Industry Construction Apprenticeship Task Force (CCATF)
NSCC is represented on the CCATF and leads the Specialist Working Group tasked with
increasing employer engagement in apprenticeships and promoting training within the industry.
Construction Industry Advisory Committee (ConIAC)
NSCC has a seat on ConIAC, which advises the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) on
the protection of people at work from hazards to health and safety.
Safety Schemes In Procurement (SSIP)
NSCC sits on the Forum Management Group of the SSIP, a collection of organisations
working together to reduce the business burden of pre-qualification.
Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT)
NSCC represents sub-contractors on the JCT to improve the industry’s standard
forms of contracts.
